As many of you know, every July, American Girl has a benefit sale where it started in Middleton, Wisconsin. The American Girl Benefit Sale is a warehouse sale put on by the Madison Children's Museum, selling dolls and accessories donated by American Girl. I live very close to Middleton, so I've gone to it the last few years.
You can buy tickets for Saturday, and for the first time, this year you can buy tickets for 7-o'clock on Sunday, the day when prices are lower and they hand out free tickets, starting at 8:00am.
Here is the item list that was for Saturday:
Also, it is inconvenient for the businesses around the sale because of everyone trying to park everywhere, so Mattel gives tickets to employees of the businesses in the area to come to the sale early, on Wednesday night. Anyway, a family member of mine was able to go on Wednesday, so I got the Coconut Puppy, the Corgi Puppy, the Pet Camping Outfit, and Ivy's Accessories.

I went back to the sale on Sunday morning with my mom. We arrived at the sale at about 7:30am and got in line for the tickets. They started handing out the tickets and 8:00am. We were numbers 357 and 358, which meant we were in Wave 3 at about 9:45am. There are 100 people in each wave.
Here is the item/price list for Sunday:
By the time we got in there, there was hardly anything. In previous years, I've been in Wave 8, with still lots of items left. There is normally at least 20 different My American Girl/Truly Me dolls, with more than a pallet of dolls of each kind, but when I got there today, there were only 3 different My American Girl dolls, with only a few dolls of each. Yet there were more than 3 palllets of Isabelle, the 2014 Girl of the Year.
Although there were few dolls, they did have a few accessories. I got 2 of Saige's Wrap Bracelet, 2 Oodles of Horses books, one Taking the Reins book, and Rebecca's (new) Meet Sweater.

There are also vendors outside of the warehouse the sale is in. Most of them are people selling AG doll crafts. In the craft sale/vendor area, I also purchased a wooden doll desk and chair, and a Disney Frozen apron for myself.

Over all, I am a little disappointed there weren't many dolls, but I am very happy with everything that I got and I hope that you are considering checking out the American Girl Benefit Sale next year!
Sincerely, The Wonderlandiful Crafter
